Hi Barbara, yes indeed they are edible...but I'd go for organic, non-pesticide orchids...and they're oh so lovely on a plate. :-)

There's always pomegranate in the market at where I lived.Malaysia, that is. I loved to eat the juicy sweet sacs and spit out the seeds at the backyard while I was young! It was a fun thing to do.
